Our Wedding

We met one day when Rob was crowd surfing while dressed as a nun and Casey was breathing fire. It wasn’t a typical rom com meet cute, it was more of a Tim Burton film come to life.The friendship was immediate, but it wasn’t until one Christmas when Casey came to visit Rob in New York City when he was starring on Broadway that this fiery duo started to heat up. Living in Harlem, eating in Chinatown, and standing beneath the Rockefeller Christmas Tree in a blizzard, we blame this all on the magic of Manhattan. Eventually, we packed up that magic and moved to Los Angeles together, where in between auditions and improv classes we created our show Kamikaze Fireflies. Conceived next to a taco truck and then rehearsed in the wonderfully surreal setting of the park in between the La Brea Tar Pits and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, it was another life changing moment.One of the very first festivals to take a chance on our fledgling show was the Ohio Renaissance Festival, and it continues to be our most beloved event. Over the years, we’ve travelled the world, had adventures great and small, and tried our hardest to spread laughter and lighter fluid everywhere we went.And somewhere along the way, Ohio stopped being just a place we performed… and became home. Keep your sunshine and palm trees Los Angeles, we want Spring Grove Cemetery and Jungle Jim’s. No couple is poor as long as they have each other and friends, and all of you make us the richest people in Bedford Falls. Attaboy Clarence!

Magnolia first met Casey when Judas and Magnolia shared a stage with Kamikaze Fireflies at the Florida Renaissance Festival in 2020! With a love of love and a penchant for organization, Magnolia is delighted to support Rob and Casey through this exciting journey together!

Anne first met Casey after a Kamikaze Fireflies show at the Ohio Renaissance Festival in 2017! Anne started working the Fireflies’ merchandise booth in 2019 and has cherished chatting and laughing with Casey (and Rob) over the years! Anne is thrilled to help the lovebirds prepare for this next adventure!

Kathy was brought into the Firefly world after a couple friends mentioned there was a spot open Casey and Rob and is starting her fourth season of joy and laughter! She is over the top honored to be a part of such a beautiful day with the most wonderful people♥️

Rob and Kevin began their journey together as part of The Flaming Idiots (alongside the late, great Jon O’Connor), launching a twenty-year adventure filled with laughter, travel, and unforgettable moments on stage and off. No one has had a greater positive impact on Rob’s life than Kevin, and there is no one more fitting to stand by his side as best man.
